The trailer will play a few minutes prior to the noon Central kickoff between the Cowboys and Seahawks. The live-action movie, which Titanic director Cameron conceived of more than a decade ago, was shot in stereoscopic 3-D that gives the movies exotic alien world a vivid and deeply immersive look. The world got its first glimpse of Avatar at Comic-Con International in San Diego this summer, when Cameron showed off 25 minutes of footage to a screening hall packed with thousands of rapt sci-fi fans. In addition to Sundays trailer event in Texas, 90-second Avatar commercials will air on Fox sports broadcasts that day, including the World Series game and all regional football games carried by Fox affiliates. Avatar opens Dec. 18.
