Nov. 2: If you missed Sunday's Avatar blitz on Fox's sports shows, you can see it now in all its glory (above).] Avatar, the hotly anticipated sci-fi movie by director James Cameron, will get whats being called the worlds biggest live trailer viewing when it is screened Sunday on the giant video display at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas. SEE ALSO: Avatars Stunning Flora, Fauna Give Comic-Con an Eyeful The three-and-a-half-minute Avatar trailer will play on the four-sided, high-def Diamond Vision screen for football fans in the stadium for the Cowboys-Seattle Seahawks game (see stadium rendering below), according to a press release. Millions more are expected to see the live broadcast from home during the Fox NFL Sunday pre-game show. The trailer will play a few minutes prior to the noon Central kickoff between the Cowboys and Seahawks. The live-action movie, which Titanic director Cameron conceived of more than a decade ago, was shot in stereoscopic 3-D that gives the movies exotic alien world a vivid and deeply immersive look. The world got its first glimpse of Avatar at Comic-Con International in San Diego this summer, when Cameron showed off 25 minutes of footage to a screening hall packed with thousands of rapt sci-fi fans. In addition to Sundays trailer event in Texas, 90-second Avatar commercials will air on Fox sports broadcasts that day, including the World Series game and all regional football games carried by Fox affiliates. Avatar opens Dec. 18.

Zoe Saldana Shows Her Skills Behind the Scenes of "Colombiana"
How do you follow up a motion-capture portrayal of a blue Na'Vi peace-loving warrior? Use those skills, and more, to portray an assassin in a high-impact, adrenaline-inducing revenge movie. Written by Luc Besson, well-versed at making beautiful women into heroines, and directed by a guy who changed his last name to the Transformer-like "Megaton," Zoe Saldana takes charge of this terrain, and adds her to a short list of contemporary femme fatales who can lead a movie into battle. While the film doesn't seem set to do Lara Croft type box-office numbers, the producers have lined Saldana up alongside some familiar faces such as Michael Vartan ("Alias"), Max Martini ("The Unit"), Jordi Molla ("Blow") and Cliff Curtis ("Live Free or Die Hard"). From this video, including shots of Saldana's training for the film, it doesn't seem that Saldana was at all intimidated by the testosterone of the majority of the cast.
